Personally, I no longer try to engage with large issues such as raised here, as I find an examination of what we do to the world (and each other) profoundly depressing. Probably a cop out. And feeding into the feelings of disengagement and dissatisfaction that drive mindless consumption.<br /><br />See, I'm already depressing myself!
